Help

How it works, and how to reach a person.

Getting in touch

Email EmotaraApp@gmail.com. A real person reads it. If something in a flow seemed wrong or unsafe, please say so and include the feeling you picked and roughly when it happened.

How Emotara works

You pick how you want to feel, answer three quick questions, and Emotara builds a four-step sequence for that stretch of time. It is a plan to follow in order, not a list of options to choose between.

Each flow is generated fresh, so the same answers will not always give you the same result. If one does not suit you, generate another.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up and nothing to fill in. An account is created quietly the first time you generate a flow so your saved flows have somewhere to live.

You can add an email address later from You → Add an email. That is optional, and it exists for one reason: without it, your saved flows live only on this device and will not follow you to a new phone.

How many flows do I get?

Three every seven days on the free plan.

It is a rolling window rather than a weekly reset, so there is no fixed day when everything comes back. Instead, your oldest flow drops out of the count seven days after you made it, and a slot frees up then. Your account screen shows how many you have left.

A flow that fails does not count against you.

Why is it taking a while?

Building a flow usually takes about ten seconds. It is being written for your answers rather than picked off a shelf, which is what takes the time. If it fails, you keep the slot and can try again for free.

I lost my saved flows

The most likely cause is a new device or cleared app data, with no email attached to the account. Saved flows belong to an account, and without an email there is no way to sign back in to the old one.

If you added an email, sign in from You → Sign in and they will come back. If you did not, they cannot be recovered, and we are sorry. Adding an email now protects the ones you make from here.

What happens to my data

Emotara does not ask for your name, address, phone number, location, contacts or photos, and there is no free-text box anywhere in the app. What is stored is the answers you picked from the lists, the flows built for you, and which ones you saved.

Flows are written by an AI model. What gets sent is the feeling you chose and your three answers. Nothing that identifies you goes with it. The full detail, including who the provider is, is in the privacy policy.

Deleting everything

Go to You → Delete my account. It removes your account, your flows and your saved library immediately, and it cannot be undone.

You can also do it from the web, without the app installed.

Something in a flow was wrong

Flows are suggestions, not instructions, and not professional advice. You decide what you actually do. Skip anything that seems unsafe or is not right for the people you are with.

Please tell us if you see something that should not have been suggested. It is the most useful email we can get.
